Streamlined Field Operations: The Daily View for Teams

Published 2026-04-23

We’ve launched My Day, a dedicated mobile-first interface designed to give field teams total clarity on their workday. Employees can now view their entire week at a glance, following optimized route orders with instant access to customer names, service addresses, and one-tap directions. This update simplifies on-site administrative tasks by allowing users to clock in directly from a stop, update visit statuses, and link time logs to specific jobs—all from a single, intuitive screen. By separating "per-visit" crew assignments from general job templates, we’ve ensured that everyone sees exactly where they need to be and what they need to do, making daily operations smoother than ever.

New features

  • My Day — Open your week, see each day’s assigned stops in order, get directions, copy the service address, and mark visits complete (or skipped) from your phone. Clock in from a stop or use the quick time summary, and jump to the full Time page when you need more detail.

  • Time — Log time from the org dashboard: clock in and out, add minutes or a time range, and (when it helps) tie time to a job or visit. See today’s and this week’s totals, browse by day, in the time zone your device uses.

Bug fixes

  • Organization dashboard — If you belong to an organization, you can always open its workspace and use the org switcher. Sidebar tabs still follow the permissions you set for each role.

Improvements

  • Crew on visits — The schedule, My Day, and visit details only show people assigned to that visit. The job’s default crew is a template: when a visit is created, everyone in that default (including each person who holds a default role) is copied onto the visit—no duplicates. Changing default crew on an existing job does not change old visits unless you choose to push that crew to open visits when you save.
  • Schedule (quick look) — Opening a visit from the calendar shows who is on that visit; opening a job from Jobs to schedule still shows the job’s default crew as a preview until the visit is placed.
