Smart Proposals & AI-Driven Estimates
We’ve introduced powerful new ways to build and present your quotes. With Scout line suggestions, you can now use AI to draft estimates in seconds based on your historical data. We’ve also launched Choice Sets, giving your customers the power to choose between different service options (like "Good/Better/Best") directly from the proposal. These updates, combined with a new card-style layout and auto-saving workspace, make your bidding process faster for you and clearer for your clients.
New features
- Estimates — Scout line suggestions — While building a quote, open Scout suggestions to get a list of suggested catalog items, packages, or new lines. You can add custom prompts in Workflow to teach Scout how you usually build quotes, and even enable an automatic suggestion pass for every new estimate.
- Estimates — Choice sets — Group multiple line items into a single set so the customer picks one option at accept time. The first line acts as the default, and totals update automatically as the customer makes their selection.
- Estimates / Catalog / Job costs — Duplicate any line in one click to copy its details, keeping catalog links intact where applicable.
Improvements
- Estimates — Customer proposal — The accept page now uses a clean, card-style layout for all line items, packages, and "choose-one" groups, ensuring the breakdown looks like a professional estimate rather than a list of notes.
- Estimates — Choice sets UI — We’ve added hover previews when dragging lines into sets and moved the "Make choice set" toggle into a compact grid under Adjust → Customer proposal.
- Estimates — Workspace layout — The line-items area now uses the full width of the screen, removing unnecessary empty space.
- Estimates — Workflow — Cleaned up legacy options; removed unused pricing prompts and "auto-fill from lead" to focus on line suggestions.
- Scout AI Intelligence — Scout now provides 1–10 highly relevant ideas that fit the specific job rather than sweeping your whole catalog. It also intelligently skips items you’ve already added to the estimate.
- Refined Scout Context — When asking for help with quotes, Scout now loads a smaller, focused set of context (customer history and catalog) to prevent data lag and redundant "thinking" cycles.
Bug fixes
- Estimates — Customer email — Choice sets now show as a clear "Choose one" block in emails instead of listing every option as an included item.
- Estimates — Drag & Drop — Fixed a browser-specific issue where dragging lines into or out of choice sets would sometimes fail.
- Estimates — Choice sets reordering — Reordering lines inside a set no longer accidentally removes them from the group.
- Estimates / Catalog — Quick-adding a catalog item now provides a clear explanation (e.g., "Missing permissions") instead of a vague "Failed" message.
- Estimates — Creation — Fixed a database error when creating an estimate for a bad or mismatched customer ID.
- Scout — Duplicate Pills — Resolved an issue where extra LLM fetch rounds would stack duplicate UI elements for the same query.
